Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry launches Historic Royal Palaces' year long celebration of 100 years of conservation, in the historic setting of Banqueting House Whitehall.
In his speech 'Time: craftsman or vandal?' he admits to being 'humbled' by the work of conservation professionals and shares his insights into the aesthetics of 'old'; the power of physical interactions with art over digital ones; and the role of conservation in a future where objects can be reproduced quickly and cheaply. With an introduction to the conservation centenary celebrations by Historic Royal Palaces' Chief Executive, Michael Day.
